Giving Back

The Davis Constructors & Employees Fund

In 2007, our parent company, Davis Constructors and Engineers (Davis), established an endowment with the Alaska Community Foundation (ACF) to support Alaskan causes. The fund shares our simple core philosophy to treat those we are fortunate enough to work with, in the same manner that we would like to be treated.

The fund continues to enhance the “Davis Way” by empowering, inspiring, and supporting our community through financial support. The fund currently sits at over $1M. To date, more than $408,296 has been shared through grants to more than 122 organizations across the state.

Here at Mass X, our employees love to get involved and support our community! The list goes on, with the diversity of care that we have for our city and state, including: the Giant Sandbox downtown, Habitat for Humanity, the Fire and Ice Ball, Over the Edge, Polar Bear Plunge, holiday food drives, and much more.

Davis and Mass X walked a different path – “Barefoot,” that is! – and sponsored Alaska’s Barefoot Mile for 3 years, raising over $616,513 to fight against local and international human trafficking.

For seven consecutive years, Davis Constructors and Mass Excavation took part in the American Cancer Society’s annual fundraiser, Relay for Life. In that time, “Team Davis” raised an amazing $942,806!

We came together and gathered up more than $7,000 for toys and games to benefit the Providence Hospital Toy Drive.

Davis and Mass X worked together to bring a little cheer during the holiday seasons to a local facility called Safe Harbor Inn, a non-profit transitional housing facility for families and individuals experiencing disabilities and mental illness.
